Strato in Italian means “Layer”, like those in which its vines sink their roots.Strato
Vineyards are in the village of Cordenons, Friuli, Italy’s top white wine region,
where 40 million years ago the sea covered the land.
A true difference is made by the red clayey-calcareous soil, the sedimentary rock, the richness of iron oxide and the uniqueness of its microclimate between the Mediterranean and the continental characterized by significant temperature excursions that allow a slow and balanced ripening of the grapes donating minerality, sapidity and strength.

Vinification-
Soft pressing the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks thanks to selected yeasts for about 8 days in contact with their skins kept in suspension because of daily pumping over.At a controlled temperature of 18°C.
Refining-
Aged in stainless steel tanks for 4 months on fine lees “sur lie”.
